MAKE IT COUNT CORNHOLE TOURNAMENT
One of the last tournaments enjoyed by Kurt and his son Logan, was a community corn hole tournament. In honor of the competitive drive and fun they always loved to have as a family, Broken for Better held their first annual Make It Count Corn Hole Tournament! This community event was designed for fathers and their children to have a great day together & make memories that last. The next one will be held in Spring of 2024!

This annual event exists to give BACK! The Make it Count Golf Tournament connects our mission to strengthen marriages & families, with our Make it Count Movement; helping students remove the financial burdens linked to their professional pursuits, allowing them to propel into their future. We come together as a community for a day of fellowship & fundraising, where we share the future impacts of our organization – equipping marriages & strengthening families! From FREE family movie days to providing full bellies during the holidays, this past year we have seen a lot of families smile because of YOU! Thanks to local businesses and individuals, families in our community have enjoyed FREE opportunities to make memories together, along with ensuring families had enough food over long holidays. It’s our HONOR to be able to partner with you in helping our community!

Why? On May 30, 2022, our youngest son Logan and his girlfriend passed away in a tragic car accident and went home to be with Jesus. It was then that Broken for Better took on a whole new meaning. We have always tried to live a life of purpose and impact but this has forever changed us as a family and community.
We founded and continue to support Make it Count—For Logan—and its mission: EVERY student has the capacity to change the world they live in by living a life of impact that has eternal purpose. Make it Count helps students remove the financial burdens linked to their professional pursuits, allowing them to propel into their future!
